This morning I took a face from a random thumbnail from YouTube and traced over it in Inkscape. I think it turned out quite well as compared to my previous work which only looks decent if I take the lines out. This was good practice for working out how to fit shapes together toward that goal, making use of the line-tapering path effect and getting used to Inkscape in general.

It's been a while, hasn't it?

The latest thing I sneezed up got front page again (Thanks Mr.Fulp!). After some people expressed confusion and frustration with the game I decided to put a cheat sheet together for the fun things.

Dungeon of Existential Surprise (D.O.E.S). I enjoyed hidden tile surprise type games like Pirates's Plunder and Quenzar's Caverns so I made another one. You play as a demented tooth-like creature named "U". It has to find the 5 things while eating the faces of its enemies and evading natural selection such as jugs of bleach and lava.


You can play it now on Albinoblacksheep but stay tuned because the Newgrounds version will have medals.

My latest creation, Deadly New Zealand, has become far more successful than I anticipated. Not only did it get front page (despite barely making it past 3/5 out of judgement), but now I am being followed by Tom Fulp. IMPOSSIBRU!

I have a rule that if something I make gets below a certain score, it gets deleted. This was the case with my game: "Eat The Pirates". If you'd still like to play the game you can find it on albinoblacksheep.com, ad-free. I'm guessing the problem was that it wasn't as good as it looked. While it had pretty visuals, those visuals set the player up for disappointment as the game was very simple and lacked depth and variety.




 

I've created a new game where a demented panda eats and poops on pirates.

It features beautiful music from retrobox2 and voice acting from PivotsXXD. You can play it now on Albinoblacksheep. The Newgrounds version will have a leaderboard and medals. If all goes well, it will be published this coming Monday (July 14/2014).
