So far, the game is now both playable and beatable. Like with the game I'm "borrowing" from (Steve and Erin Pavlina's Pirate's Plunder), you need to find all the treasures hidden in the grid. Adding enemies and a combat system is next on my list.

Basically, I'm aiming to create a more streamlined version of Steve and Erin Pavlina's Pirate's Plunder (which was the inspiration for my previous game: The D.O.E.S) because I want a convenient means to play that game without having to boot up an old computer or use legally dubious means. I might reach out to someone on Newgrounds to do the graphics and music.

TLDR: HEAVY WILL CRUSH YOUR OC LIKE BUG!

Here's an idea for a "let me draw your OC" type thread. Basically it's a first person perspective of Heavy Weapons Guy from Team Fortress 2 interacting with whatever OC is posted.

Beforehand, you make base images of Heavy offering someone a sandvich, petting something, firing his minigun, holding up his dukes like a boxer, holding the Pyro like a mini gun while he fires his flamethrower, and strangling something with one hand. Each OC would will be drawn into a copy of one of these base images.

Sandwich: Human children and harmless human women.

Pets: Sweet little creatures.

Boxer: Someone his own size.

Minigun: Competent fighters or whatever would be difficult to strangle or burn.

Pyro: Unholy/fetish-fuel or something Heavy wouldn't want to otherwise touch.

Strangle: Everything else (consider using this for competent fighters instead of minigun as well)

If you end up using strangle almost exclusively consider putting them together choreographed to Broady Quest.
